Margaret Silf, author and professional speaker is on tour from England.
Many people today feel they are 'on the edge' or even 'over the edge' of institutional religion. This can be a lonely and a risky place to be. But it can also be a 'growing edge' of the Kingdom. An opportunity to explore how we can live creatively on this growing edge, in the tension of our many questions, but in fidelity to the core of our being, in God.
The retreat will provide a 'safe space' for people to explore their possibly problematic relationship with 'the church' and hopefully, discover their living relationship with the dynamic and ever-growing reality of 'the Kingdom' coming to birth on earth. It will be suitable for people who perhaps feel themselves to be 'on the edge' and for those who are ministering to, or accompanying people who are.
