Circulation is one of Aotearoa's best-kept secrets: an arts, music and performance based festival hidden in lush native bush. This year people from all around New Zealand will be making the journey to Whare Flat, just 20 minutes drive inland of Dunedin, for a festival that they will never forget.
Running this year for five days with a massive lineup of over 100 national and international bands, DJs, instructors and performers, Circulation is here to be soaked up by people young and old, tall and small. We have live music, workshops, comedy shows, and outdoor parties - this is one festival you cannot afford to miss!
During the day live music rolls over the hills while a wide range of unique workshops are taught continuously, from juggling, music development, yoga, comedy and trapeze, to everything in between. This is your chance to try something new and exciting!
This year we are happy to announce not only is Circulation now five days long, but are are also creating an entire zone dedicated to music with over 20 bands! This is a massive new development, more information will be out soon including the lineup.
And for the first time we also have a colourful and fun Kids' Zone, where workshops, activities and games will be catering specifically for kids.
At night there’s comedy shows and parties under the stars. With live music playing well into the nights, comedy shows, the Native Fusion party and a public event in town "Circulation - The Show!", we guarantee you tasty treats for your visual and auditory sensors the whole time!
This is the perfect way to kick-start your summer, learn new skills, bounce to booming beats and enjoy the sunny outdoors.

Unfortunately due to the massive growth of the festival, we can no longer supply food as part of the ticket price, however there are limited food tickets available (online only).
For $50 ($30 kids up to 15 years old) you can buy the festival food ticket in which you get lunch and dinner each night. All food is vegetarian and please note the food ticket does not include breakfast or snacks.
On the Monday night we are having a free traditional Maori hangi (including for those without food tickets). If you are interested you can even get involved in the preparation of this special meal by registering your interest prior to the festival (firstname.lastname@example.org).
If you are not buying a food ticket we encourage you to set up communal cooking with friends, as that will make festival life easier and more enjoyable. However, please note there is no access to cooking or cleaning facilities but there is access to drinking water.
There will also be some vendors selling tasty delights on-site (bring cash as there is no Eftpos onsite).
Camping space is plentiful, including certain areas designated as tranquil/family camping.
There is also limited bunkspace so if you are interested on this option, get in quick. Tickets for bunkspace are only available online for $30 + BF. If you wish to be in the same room as other friends who have also brought accommodation tickets, contact email@example.com to arrange this after you get your tickets from Cosmic Corner.
Remember to bring cash to site as there are no Eftpos facilities, as you don’t want to miss out on the festival food and merchandise.
