The Fight for Christchurch Corporate Boxing Event is the premier boxing event for Canterbury and the South Island. It has the goal to raise funds for local Youth Charities and victims seriously injured in the February 22 earthquake.
The Fight for Christchurch, previously known as the “Fight for Youth”, raised $105,000 in 2010 for the Christchurch Community.
The contender is just your average person wishing to experience the thrill of competing in the ring for the first time. No contender has had any previous boxing or martial arts experience so this will be completely new to them.
