The 11th of November marks the signing of the Armistice between the Allies and the Central Powers, bringing an end to World War I. Since peace was declared in 1918, Armistice Day services have been held all over the world to commemorate the fallen celebrate the transition from war to peace. Join us to mark Armistice Day with a full service with hymns performed by the Auckland Girl’s Choir and the laying of wreaths by the Armed Forces, New Zealand and foreign governments and Auckland’s Returned Services Associations.
