Use music to enhance bonding and attachment with your baby/child, at the same time stimulating and fostering brain development. Learn age appropriate songs and activities to take into your home. Lose your self-consciousness over singing, and join in the fun. This is a group for everyone, no matter how musical you think you are. Lots of props and instruments to add to the excitement.

Bring babies only for under 1 year old groups, to make the most of the experience, but siblings are welcome in the 1 & 2 year old group. Numbers limited to ensure individual attention.

A series of three weeks is offered on either a Monday (beginning 31st October) or a Friday (beginning 4th November). A second series of three weeks starting on either Monday 21st November or Friday 25th November will build on the first. You will need to book into a series of all three sessions to secure your place. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund if you can’t attend one of the classes.

Alison Broom:
Alison is a trained nurse, social worker and adult educator who has had a life-long interest and involvement in parenting education and music. She is formally trained both in piano and singing. She has run parenting education groups for many years in Christchurch.

Alison is married to Brian and is thriving on the joy and wonder of having three lively grandchildren who love to sing and dance.
