With her brand new album ‘Red Grey Blue’ out September 19th, singer songwriter Mel Parsons is in celebration mode, hitting the road with her band for a 20 date NZ tour spanning Coast to Coast and tip to tail.

Parsons will be joined by her band The Rhythm Kings, comprised of double bassist Aaron Stewart, drummer/percussionist Nick George and introducing guitarist/vocalist Andy Moore (Thomas Oliver Band), along with special guest Gerry Paul (Tim O’Brien, Grada).

One of NZ’s rising songwriting stars, Parsons' bewitching vocals that have been stopping audiences in their tracks for the past few years since the release of her Tui Award-finalist debut album 'Over My Shoulder'. Co-produced with Jeremy Toy (She’s So Rad, Opensouls, Hollie Smith) the new album features harmonies by Anika Moa, along with cameo appearances from Don McGlashan and Greg Johnson.

Opening the show is local starlet Katie Thompson, whose dulcet tones have won over many already - including enough of the NZ public to vote her in to open for ELTON JOHN later this year!

This tour is brought to you by Cape Road Recordings in association with Kiwi FM, Groove Guide, eventfinder.co.nz and Phantom.

Purchase your ticket in advance now & get an awesome ticket and album deal!
