The Taiko Charity Concert is raising money for the Red Cross representing the recent Christchurch and Japanese earthquakes.

Programme is as follows (starting at 2pm)

Performance (60min): 12 pieces of taiko + shinobue music
Taiko = Japanese drum
Shinobue = Japanese bamboo flute

Taiko workshop (40mins)
Kids/family - easy rhythm and beats
Adults/students - basic taiko lesson

Origami workshop

Tea and refreshments available (Japanese food + sweets etc.) $1 each (for charity).
