This concert is to raise funds for a scholarship to assist a young jazz musician to further their career in jazz. Joy Crees was a long standing president of the Auckland Jazz and Blues Club and was dedicated to furthering jazz in New Zealand and particularly assisting young jazz musicians to achieve their aims.
Funds will be used to assist a young jazz musician (or musicians) to advance their career by assisting with their jazz education.

3.30pm: Meech and Co;
4.30pm: Maria O’Flaherty/Bern Fernandez band;
5.00pm: Susan Gai Dowling and Ray Woolf with Mike Walker Quartet;
6.15pm: Peta Si'ulepa & Lance Su'a quartet;
7.00pm: Tony Hopkins/Phil Broadhurst/Julie Mason/Mike Murane band;
8.00pm: Jessie Bradshaw/Adrian Keeling with Prima Swing Riot;
8.45pm: Larry Morris/Tom Sharplin/Suzanne Lynch/with Mike Walker trio.
