QCBB features the music of Frank Sinatra, Diane Schuur & Count Basie, the original arrangements by Quincy Jones, Neil Hefti, Billy May, Frank Foster as played by the Count Basie Band and performed byFrank Sinatra, Diane Schuur, and Ella Fitzgerald. QCBB proudly present their featured vocalists, the fantastic Mr Lloyd Kyd and Auckland’s new young sensation Chelsea Prastiti. Performing the latest arrangements from Gordon Goodwin’s “Big Phat Band” arguably the hottest big band in the USA currently, QCBB will feature Goodwin’s original compositions and arrangements from the 2001 CD release “Swingin’ For The Fences” providing great opportunities for the soloists to show off their skills. This is a show not to be missed, a great band filled with some of Auckland’s best young talent and seasoned professionals.
