Your chance to hear fresh new work, straight from the writer’s mouth.
Creative Hub fiction students have been working on portfolios of fiction for thirty weeks with a number of leading Auckland writers, including Tina Shaw, Tessa Duder, Roger Hall, Sarah Laing, Graham Reid and Judith White. This event is an opportunity to hear excerpts from these newly completed novels and short stories read by the students (several have already won literary prize), as the ink dries, before they are whisked away to become best-sellers. You heard it here at The Vernacular Lounge first!
The Creative Hub is an Auckland writing centre which teaches travel writing, screen writing, writing for children and fiction writing.
