For the seventh year in a row the highly anticipated Pacific Music Awards are descending on Manukau for a night of live performances and Pacific pride.
The Pacific Music Awards have become a truly national event. This year South Island artists Pacific Underground and Koile have won their way into the award mix for the first time, and nominees such as Lady6, J Williams, Nesian Mystic and Vince Harder have all polished off a stellar year, dominating the national airways and the New Zealand charts.
Tight battles will be fought in all the categories. There are strong line-ups in all categories - Best Female Artist, Best Male Artist, Best Pacific Group, Best Pacific Song, Best Pacific Language Song, Best Gospel Album as well as the illustrious Polynesian Blue Best Pacific Music Album categories.
