Our autumn season guided walks are taking place this May at Cornwall Park. A range of topics and expert guides offer something for all the family, teachers and walking groups to enjoy.
Wednesday 4th May - Guided Tree Walk
Take a tour of the outstanding trees of Cornwall Park with Botanist Mike Wilcox.
Wednesday 11th May - Guided Bird Walk
Michael Taylor will offer his expertise on this popular bird walk. Learn more about the birds that reside and feed in the Park.
Wednesday 18th May - Guided Archaeological Walk
Journey back in time as Garry Law reveals the archaeology of Maungakiekie/One Tree Hill pa site on this fascinating guided walk.
Thursday 26th May - Guided Hospital Walk
The 39th US Army General Hospital once stood at Cornwall Park during World War Two. Learn about its role, later use and finally its transformation back into Parkland, with your guide Noel Herries, Civil Engineer.
