Cantores Choir (OUSA) and friends present an arts-fusion variety concert of song, dance, art, jazz, drumming and pipers.
Cantores continues its annual Song, Dance and Art fundraising concert supporting heritage buildings damaged in the Christchurch earthquakes.
Programme includes:
Barber Agnus Dei, Bizet Habanera, Mozart Epistle Sonatas, Faure Cantique de Jean Racine, Bach Jesus Bleibet Meine Freude, African songs and drumming, 'Highland Cathedral', jazz trio bracket and pop songs to celebrate life
The dance and art is back too with classical music and orchestra during music by Bach, with swing and burlesque to boot.
Specially choreographed dance routines featuring Dunedin-based dance and performance arts students will also feature. The art and dance will provide a 21st century context to the classical music.
Orchestra leader: Bev Dwan
Conductor: Greg Peyroux
Entry is a recommended $15+ donation, all proceeds to a Christchurch earthquake relief fund specifically for heritage buildings.
Tickets from:

This concert is in association with the Dunedin Public Art Gallery and support from Creative New Zealand.
