My Fair Lady is an unforgettable theatre experience. It will transport you back to Edwardian London times where you will meet a host of colourful characters. Eliza Doolittle is a cockney flower seller, whose potential to become a proper-speaking lady becomes the subject of a bet between Henry Higgins, an upper class professional bachelor, and his friend Col. Pickering. Great progress is made with her transformation, taking her to the races and a grand ball. There she meets Freddy Eynsford-Hill, an aristocratic young man, who falls hopelessly in love with Eliza.
In contrast is Eliza's father: a dustman by trade, Alfie Doolittle is a likeable rogue who lives on "faith, hope and a little bit of luck". Higgins' plans go awry when Eliza runs away and he realises she is more than just an experiment.
This show will allow you to examine class distinctions, society's prejudices and the gender divide, while being swept up in the power of the music, the drama and comedy of the story. My Fair Lady will stay with you long after the show ends.
There is a 15% discount off the prices on the first two nights
