Author Jenny Haworth travelled through Italy visiting the historic sites where New Zealanders fought during World War II, from Monte Cassino to Trieste, to research her new novel.
Jenny Haworth is a novelist, non-fiction writer and journalist. She has written for international book publishers, for many New Zealand and international magazines and for most major newspapers throughout New Zealand.
She has a life-long love of history and the arts and has an MA in history. Over the years she has specialised in writing about the history of the New Zealand fishing industry as well as novels that tell the story of New Zealand’s past. Art history is another specialty.
Jenny Haworth has also set up a publishing company called Wily Publications in an attempt to help newer writers gain publication.
