Another year, another Poetry Idol is born. Idol Empress Penny Ashton encourages ten fledgling and experienced slam poets along with fellow judges, the 2004 USA Slam Champion Rives, our own queen of poetry Tusiata Avia, and storyteller, musician and performance poet extraordinaire Apirana Taylor.
