Mother's Day High Tea

Treat yourself, and the one who loves you most, to a delicious high tea this Mother’s Day, with special guest and mother-of-two, Allyson Gofton.

Enjoy a glass of complimentary bubbles on arrival in the gorgeous roof-top Grand Tearoom overlooking Auckland’s harbour.

Decadent tiers of cakes, scones, petit sandwiches and other delicacies will adorn the tables as you hear from New Zealand’s favourite culinary goddess over afternoon tea.

Allyson will be sharing her trademark tips and tricks for the home cook, as she takes you through her new book - Allyson Gofton’s Recipe Journal. Allyson will also be talking about family bonding over food, including the importance of preserving generational family-favourite meal ideas. She will also share a treasure trove of her own recipes for all to savour.

Each guest will receive a Bake Box, full of all the ingredients needed to make one of the delectable recipes from Allyson’s Recipe Journal, as well as some extra culinary treats.

If what you hear makes your mouth water, Allyson’s new book will be available to buy on the day, with a personal signing from the iconic Kiwi kitchen wonder herself.

Plus, any mother-daughter pair who purchase tickets before the 1st of May will also go in the draw to win a night’s accommodation at the Heritage Hotel.

To make the day even sweeter, proceeds from this event will go towards Make-A-Wish New Zealand, to help them to grant the wishes of children living with life-threatening medical conditions.
