As Lorraine Downes was being crowned Miss Universe 1983, in a cruel miscarriage of justice Penny Ashton failed to win Miss Waikuku Beach 1983. Twenty-eight years later she’s back to settle the score by perving under the glamorous gowns of beauty pageant contestants. From Miss Landmine Survivor to Miss Transsexual International to Miss Klingon Empire, Ashton will get beneath the Vaseline, sex scandals and bitch fights as she heads to Miss Universe 2010 in Las Vegas. Once there she interviews contestants, hairdressers and a million gay men, but when she tries to find Miss New Zealand, things get a little ugly.
