Loop, Groove Guide & Kiwi FM are bringing the bros to AK & helping re-launch a spruced up and sound enhanced Khuja Lounge. Two bad-ass bands world famous outside of Auckland. Witness the creation of NZ’s future funk, blues, psychedelic & prog rock.
AHoriBuzz:
AHoriBuzz is the solo project and brainchild of Aaron Tokona (Weta, Cairo Knife Fight, Bongmaster). Tokona leads the trio on vocals, MPC and guitar while Hori and Nick Gaffney (also Cairo Knife Fight) anchor the outfits mean rhythm section. AHoriBuzz bring the funk and soul like no one else wielding their instruments with hectic passion in a dangerously free manner.
The Nudge!
Ryan Prebble, Iraia Whakamoe & James Coyle are The Nudge! Creating a fresh form of innovative blues, the boys are all individually inspired by multiple genres forming a complex sound often termed as psychedelic swampy blues. Having recently supported Little Bushman, Fly My Pretties and The Black Seeds a wave of worship has begun in response to their wicked live show.
