Auckland-based artist Matt Henry creates meticulously painted minimalist paintings that often mimic high-end modernist style appliances or humble architectural utilities and fixtures. For Te Tuhi, Henry continues this body of work by exhibiting a series of paintings that intervene both boldly and surreptitiously throughout three gallery spaces.
User Friendly is Henry's first major solo exhibition in a public art gallery.
