Matatau 2011 features the work of Bachelor of Māori Visual Arts candidates Waimarie Hunt, Janelle Wilson, Jermaine Reihana, Joshua Campbell and Erana James. Working on the theme of mana tangata the artists express their individual responses to contemporary issues including religion, mana Māori and tradition. Their processes range from video to installation, painting and relief sculpture.
