A family fishing and diving competition based in Whangarei Harbour with fishing area including Bream Bay out to the Hen and Chicks Islands. Organised by the local community there are great prizes and heaps of fun for young and old.
Weigh-in (from 12) is on the beach at Taurikura where there are children’s activities, food, licenced bar plus our unique fish auction (5pm). So if you missed out on a big snapper or kingfish there’s a second chance to get one, while at the same time helping raise money for the children at our local school.
