Come and listen to an internationally acclaimed scientist talk about how he uncovers the secrets behind some of the world’s most important artworks including Vermeer’s Young Woman seated at a Virginal, and how he can spot fake Egyptian artefacts. The 2011 Royal Society of New Zealand Distinguished Speaker Professor Robin Clark will be speaking on 'Science meets art: investigating pigments in art and archaeology'.

Professor Clark is an internationally celebrated scientist based at University College London and is an expert in use of Raman Microscopy in forensic archaeology.
