Kristin Gibbons from Remax Leaders Real Estate is hosting a giant charity auction at 2:45pm for four worthwhile New Zealand Charities - Red Cross Canterbury Earthquake Appeal, Mana Recovery, Epilepsy NZ and SIDS NZ.

Saturday is all about family, community and business, coming together to support each other. Cory Jane & Victor Vitto from the Hurricanes are coming down to show their support, we have music from Louis Baker, and Les Mills Extreme will be putting on a demonstration.

Not only that, there's a Bouncy castle, sack races and running races for both the kids and the adults. The vertical bungy will be there, food and drink stalls. We’ll also have a few craft stalls there, and for those interested in more arts and crafts the Frank Kitts Underground craft market is also open all day.

Entry for the day is free, but there will be gold coin donation buckets available for anyone able to contribute. Event project manager Leanne Pelabon says “We want those wealthy Wellingtonians there too. If you have some spare money that you want to give to 4 amazing worthwhile charities, then come down to Frank Kitts Park at 1pm Saturday 12th March and we will welcome you with open arms!”
