After The Waterfall Movie & Nibbles - TTSPSF Fundraiser

The Tauranga Single Parents Support Foundation presents a fundraiser screening of the ever so intensely powerful ‘After The Waterfall’, starring Antony Starr (Outrageous Fortune).

We have booked out a theatre at the Rialto to hold this rare screening.

A New Zealand film, based on the novel The Paraffin Child by UK author Stephen Blanchard. Set and shot in Piha (Auckland’s beautiful West Coast). After the Waterfall is a passionate, intense, intimate drama about a man who loses everything, and has to find his way back into life.

Still grieving three years after the disappearance of his four-year-old daughter, forest ranger John (Outrageous Fortune’s Antony Starr) has separated from his wife Ana (Sally Stockwell). When Ana becomes pregnant to John’s best friend – the policeman in charge of his missing daughter’s case – tensions boil to the surface in an isolated community where everyone knows your business but few people can really understand your heart.

After the Waterfall is the debut feature from writer/director Simone Horrocks.
