Come on Taupo – let’s raise $100,000 for Christchurch

The Taupo Blues Picnic at the Unison Amphitheatre Taupo - with a fabulous line up of blues acts – is all about raising funds for our fellow kiwis in Christchurch in their time of tremendous need. The Blues Brothers Tribute Band, Darcy Perry, Mike Garner Band, Chanelle, Swamp Thing and the Flaming Mudcats will all be performing.

Get a group together (special pricing for groups of 8 or more), pack a picnic and enjoy an afternoon/evening of great blues music. Gates open at 12:30, the show starts at 2pm with the Blues Brothers Tribute Band, and rocks on till 10pm with 6 different acts.

BYO food and non alcoholic beverages but NO BYO alcohol. Moderately priced wines will be available by the glass or bottle, and beer, food, coffee and soft drinks will also be available for purchase. Once costs have been covered, all ticket sale revenue plus a percentage of all vendor sales will go directly to the Red Cross earmarked specifically for Christchurch.
