A return visit to the Jazz and Blues Club for The (Quite) New Phil Broadhurst Quartet which assembles the talents of leading NZ saxophonist Roger Manins with the tunes and arrangements of the leader, one of NZ's best known jazz pianists. With Oli Holland on bass and Alain Koetsier on drums, the band will be debuting more new material in preparation for their forthcoming album. This will be the last chance to catch the Alain’s excellent drumming before he departs for China. Expect the unexpected as they throw the odd standard into the mix along with some European flavours and Phil's sparkling originals.
