This is the first in a series of concerts focusing on young musicians, young composers and exciting performance spaces. The series will feature a variety of artistic genres, from Tchaikovsky to experimental pop and performance poetry. In the first two concerts the newly formed ARCO String orchestra will present the Anthony Watson's Prelude and Allegro, Bela Bartok's Divertimento, Alex Taylor's Silk / Gravel, and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Serenade in C major.
