Steaming is set in London in the '80s in a public bath house in "the Turkish Room".
Hilariously amusing, the play focuses on the intimate lives of five women from very different backgrounds and the manageress Violet.
They take a bath, take a steam relax and escape from their daily strains of life. When the baths are under threat of closure the mismatched women join forces and make a stand for their bastion of escapism.
