Rugby World Cup is on its way and predictions are that Auckland will be short of coffee baristas!
The first thing a potential employer will ask you to do is make them a coffee - if you don't do it well you won't get the job! This course will give you complete insight into coffee history, heritage and the effects on flavour due to processing, blending and roasting.
You will learn and use all functions of the espresso machine, about machine maintenance, you will cup coffee to taste different blends and roasts and you will learn the professional preparation and presentation of all espresso beverages on a coffee menu.
This course contains at least six hours of practical hands-on time, a full course booklet is provided and on course completion you will receive a certificate of attendance. Check out the tutor’s website at www.askme4coffee.co.nz.
The course is held over two consecutive Sundays. Course commences 19 June 2011, pre-registration is essential. Maximum of 8 students.
