Backed by a hot rhythm section including world-class percussionist Lopaka Colon and drummer Kapena Delima, and topped off by six hula dancers led by kumu hula Mehanaokala Hind.
In addition to sharing their music and culture at WOMAD, Nga Puhi and Pasifika festivals, they're lined up for gigs with Katchafire, 1814, Three Houses Down, and Tigilau Ness. In Paekakariki, they will be joined by Aotearoa's pioneer hip hop crew Upper Hutt Posse, The Paepae Sound System, and an acoustic set from Robbie and Majic.
They will also run workshops in schools, marae and communities on hula, ukulele, slack-key guitar, sovereign Hawaiian education (charter schools) and Makahiki games.
