Domesticware is a ceramic-based installation devised and executed by the Betty Brick Collective. The gallery becomes a satirical and surreal domestic scene featuring clay objects and artworks. Turning clay, a common domestic ware medium into something else.

Domesticware is in conjunction with The Big Smoke National Ceramic Conference, a collaboration between Auckland Studio Potters, UNITEC and NZ Potters that takes place in Auckland from 1 to 3 April 2011. Keep up to date with the latest information on www.thebigsmoke.unitec.ac.nz.
