Windows on Europe is a unique film festival which comes to Rialto Cinemas for the first time.

The festival brings together award winning films from across the European Union. While screenings of European film are not unusual in New Zealand - thanks to the many national film festivals – Windows on Europe is unique in that it draws upon the diverse and rich cultures of Europe into the one festival. The festival has its origins in Canberra but its popularity has seen it extended in the last few years to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Auckland. In 2011 Adelaide has also joined the programme.
