Ever wondered what that rampant vine might be? Whether those bright yellow flowers are native or exotic? Whether there's any difference between a 'pest plant' and a common garden weed?
The Friends of Maungawhau are holding a weed education day to answer your questions. Join a guided walk round the mountain, learn to recognise weeds and find out how to control and dispose of them.
Leaflets will be available, and volunteers will be on hand to offer advice, suggestions, and refreshments. All welcome.
