Matakana Coast Wine Country and Runner Duck Estate present the inaugural Matakana Fruitloop, a madcap 7km fun run and ramble through vineyards, olive groves, mandarin orchards and farmland usually closed to the public. There'll be fruit and wine tastings, live music and spectacular views of the Matakana Coast along the way. Wear a crazy costume to be in to win spot prizes. Entries $15-$30, proceeds support the construction of the Matakana to Omaha walkway. Enter online at www.matakanafruitloop.co.nz.
