Nathan Homestead is proud to showcase a selection of work from highly skilled local potters in this exhibition, coinciding with Auckland’s hosting of the New Zealand National Ceramic Conference, The Big Smoke.

Brian Gartside, Petra Molloy, Onlie Ong, Margaret Bell, Helen Yau, and Carla Ruka present clay works that use a variety of building processes, forms, and firing finishes.

An additional feature of the exhibition is work from Manurewa Potters’ recent horse hair firing co-ordinated by Margaret Bell.

Guest potter, former Nathan Homestead tutor, and current tutor at Te Wananga o Aotearoa, Darren Keith, presents a selection of work influenced and created in the thermal region of Rotorua.

Opening: 24 March, 6pm
Gallery hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, Weekends 1pm – 4pm
