To celebrate Children’s Day 2011, Nathan Homestead is holding an exciting children's arts festival packed with art, music, fun and games.
The festival comes complete with a giant and delicious twist - a gigantic thirty metre ice cream sundae made with one hundred litres of ice cream!
Don't miss this incredible opportunity to get hands-on in the creation of this yumminess and help make the longest sundae in town! You can register at Nathan Homestead for $2 but get in quick as places are limited. Otherwise you can just enjoy a delicious ice-cream by paying a gold coin donation on the day. All proceeds will go to the Starship Children's Hospital.
Other fun-filled activities on the day include printmaking, flax-weaving, pottery, arts and crafts, Mexican and Chilean dance, comic-book art, balloon-making, face-painting and a bouncy castle. There will also be a performance by the magnificent magician Alan Watson, outdoor games, a sausage sizzle, a
Hula-Hoop circus performer, a stilt-walker and lots more entertainment for the whole family!
