Come and celebrate St Patrick's Day at the Mangawhai Tavern. Great Irish live music with Royal Fortune popular Auckland folk band and competition - best Irish hat. Green beer, green shots and Irish menu. Fun for all the family. Best dressed, best hat and spot prizes.

The Royal Fortune are a traditional folk band from Auckland who specialise in sea shanties and Irish traditional folk music. The guys (and girl!) got together in 2008 and have played around Auckland and even in Europe at sea shanty festivals there. You can expect a high energy traditional music session with banjo, fiddle, musical saw and bucket bass playing all your favourites.
