I want to see red and black, red and black. After the tragic event in Christchurch there have been countless efforts to raise money for our people down in Christchurch but we can’t stop now, they need more cash, more help.

Next Thursday 'Give the drummer some' is all about raising money for those affected by the earthquake with a gold coin donation - every little bit helps.

For your gold coin generosity you will be entertained by Bobby Cook (The Wastemasters), they will be kicking the night off like Dan Carter then off-loading the stage to Miso Shiru like Sunny Bill Williams who will be spin records like Israel Dagg spins out of tackles and digging in his crates like Richie McCaw does rucks.

Until Eddie Numbers crouch down like a tight five and engage the crowd in the second half of what was a close game but Canterbury got the win thanks to everyone who contributed.

The game will be well controlled by the host for the evening 'Flash'.

Please note the night will start at 8pm and end at 1am so do get down early.

With live performances From Bobby Cook Eddie Numbers and DJ Set from Miso Shiru it will be the place to be.
