2011 TOWER Tutus on tour is all about families. Featuring a new production of Pinocchio and a sparkling classical showpiece, it's the perfect ballet for young and old to enjoy together.
TOWER Tutu's on Tour is the Royal New Zealand Ballet's opportunity to share what they do with as many New Zealanders as possible. Every 2 years the company divides in half and one group heads south and the other north.Over the following 6 weeks, they're on the road performing in more than 40 towns and cities.
As well as Pinocchio the classical ballet, Verdi Variations promises to be a stunningly grand showpiece peppered with dramatic solos and dazzling duets, complete with exquisitely made tutus and tiaras.
