Nightshade Live featuring MC Beau, Sarah Callander & Dell McLeod.

Support from Woosh & Beau (SBK), Espionage (Dn), plus Kaon, Hybrid, & Damage a.k.a. Breadman (HCITY DNB)

There will be drinks specials for students, & student giveaways on the door. Also there will be a free CD for the first 50 through the door.

Nightshade is a Dunedin based live electronica band, focusing on drum'n'bass, dubstep & other experimental dance music genres. With a line-up including NZ scene veterans Woosh & MC Beau, alongside the vocal talents of Sarah Callander (Melb) & Dell McLeod, plus the virtuoso guitar & engineering skills of Kalo Pilato, this is one fresh Kiwi act you do not want to miss.

Embarking on their first nationwide tour, Nightshade will perform over an hour of original productions live, ranging from high energy metal influenced dancefloor mammoths, to stripped back melancholic liquid productions, & everything in between. With an intent to push boundaries beyond genres, Nightshade have already received support from such respected DJs as Marcus Intalex, on his legendary Soul:ution Radio.

Having collaborated with the likes of Logistics (UK), Truth, Tokyo Prose, Isaac Aesili, & with remixes forthcoming from such artists as Benny Tones, The Upbeats, Ghost, Optimus Gryme, K+Lab & Bromelain this will be a night of full spectrum dance gems.

Along for the ride is dynamic Dunedin production duo 'Espionage', fresh from their debut set at Phat Bass Camp, & ready to show the capital city why they have been turning heads within the scene since emerging barely over a year ago.

If you're keen to get a taste of Nightshade before they touch down head over to their soundcloud (listed below) for a demo of their show at Onefest in 2010, or keep an ear out for their upcoming release on 'Optimus Gryme Recordings' or their explosive remix of 'Knives At Noon' track "Violence & Violins".
