In response to the Christchurch earthquake, Knox Church Dunedin (corner of Pitt and George Streets) continues to be open every day for prayer. There is a place set aside especially in the church, where people may add a stone to the memorial cairn and add their written prayers.

There is also an opportunity for people who have come to Dunedin from Christchurch – and Dunedin people supporting people from Christchurch – to gather together to talk and get support. These groups, held in the church halls and facilitated by trained and skilled people are available on Tuesday evenings 5.30pm-6.30pm and Fridays 2.00-pm-3.00pm.
