Annie Proulx’s nine books include the novels The Shipping News and the story collection Fine Just The Way It Is. Her many honours include a Pulitzer Prize, a National Book Award and a PEN/Faulkner award. Her story, ‘Brokeback Mountain’ was made into a BAFTA and Academy Award-winning film.
Annie’s new book, Bird Cloud: A Memoir, is her first work of non fiction in more than twenty years. It is the story of the 640 acres of Wyoming wetlands, prairie, cliffs and river - the land she fell in love with and built her home on.
