Polish-born fine-art painter Renata Przynoga-Cousins has embraced life in her new home of New Zealand to the full, leaving behind the snow and forests of her homeland to absorb every nuance of the sharp southern light, sun-burnt paddocks and the tracery of animals on distant hills in the long southern twilight.

Through her gaze, we see our own country with new eyes - falling in love again with what has always been here.
