The State National Surf Life Saving Championships is the pinnacle event of our season. From the Masters (over 30s) through to NZ representatives; surf boat crews to beach sprinters; these Championships will see almost 1500 athletes compete over four days.
This season the Nationals return to New Brighton where the first surf life saving club in New Zealand was formed in 1910. The Nationals are one of the highlights of our centenary celebrations and this is sure to add to the camaraderie and competitive spirit that is ever present at this event. All members are welcome to participate and celebrate 100 years of Surf Life Saving in New Zealand.
