"There is something unique and powerful about the way Kelly mixes up everyday detail with the big issues of life, death, love and struggle - not a trace of pretence or fakery in there."

One of the world’s finest singer-songwriters, folk-rock legend Paul Kelly takes audiences on an intimate journey as he performs 100 of his best-known, much-loved songs over four nights - in alphabetical order. Creating enraptured excitement across Australia, these solo-acoustic performances, and their unique presentation, showcase Kelly’s original, undressed sounds. Delivered with characteristic intensity and depth, Kelly’s epic retrospective is punctuated by stories about his life, family and the inspiration behind his songs. Favourites include Before Too Long, From Little Things Big Things Grow and To Her Door. His characters with their voices of heat, hurt and humour – angels, beggars, cheaters, drunks, ecstatics, fighters, gentlemen and heroines – will stalk your soul and dance on your heart.
With a song writing history spanning three decades, Kelly has a swag-full of songs to draw from and a huge load of memories to share. Anecdotes, shared between songs, were the genesis for How to Make Gravy, Kelly’s recently published memoir, which weaves his songs and personal history into the story of his life as an artist.
Take a legendary journey and pay tribute to a legendary man – your favourite Paul Kelly songs, unplugged over four, unforgettable nights.
