New Orleans Live and the Ovation Channel present Rebirth Brass Band a New Orleans institution.
Formed in 1983 by the Frazier brothers, the band has evolved from playing the streets of the French Quarter to playing festivals and stages all over the world. Rebirth is committed to upholding the tradition of New Orleans music while at the same time incorporating modern jazz into their show. Their signature music has won over generations of music lovers and has become the soundtrack to an entire city. They are the undisputed champions of brass and jazz and show no signs of slowing down.
Rebirth Brass Band is touring concert halls and theatres around Australia and New Zealand direct from New Orleans in March 2011. The tour will be held at the Civic Theatre on 22 March 2011. Rebirth Brass Band features on the soundtrack to HBO's hit series Treme which was recently nominated for the 2011 Grammys.
