Albany sports bar & cafe brings celebrations to the whole of Albany with St. Paddy's Day celebrations in the heart of Albany. There are live bands throughout the day and Irish music in between.
Get your green gears ready and roll over to Albany Sports Bar on Thursday the 17th of March, 2011.
Its celebration time in the heart of Albany Village and we are here to entertain you all day.
- James Kahu and troop (5pm onwards):
James is a singer/songwriter/bass player. He started playing bass back in 1989 and since then has immersed himself in every style of music. He is writing and recording exciting funk/rock, vocal songs with elements of jazz and various influences into every track.
- The Black Rose Band:
A four piece sequenced band with varied music instruments ranging from drums, guitar, saxophone, accordions, harmonica, banjos, mandolin, keyboard etc... The band is popular for a wide range of music form today's hits to yesterday's greats. Moving from boogie to blues and back again... People just love them and sing along.
Watch Milan and Karli entertain live @ Albany Sports Bar & Cafe 1.00pm to 5.00pm.
Bish, the manager, promises a lot of fun, luck and entertainment at the pub.
