Book sale – fundraising for the Hawke's Bay community for 24 years.
Admission is free and there is plenty of free parking available.
Each year the team of volunteers from the Hastings Host Lionscollect of books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, records and puzzles from members of the community and their dedicated volunteers spend 100’s of hours over several months sorting and collating in preparation for the sale.
All profits from the annual book sale go back in to the community with hundreds of thousands of dollars donated since the events inception. Proceeds of the book sale have, over the years, been donated to many Hawke's Bay community projects and groups, more recently Cranford Hospice and the Weka Point Restoration project.
