A solo exhibition by senior Māori artist Kura Te Waru Rewiri, curated by Nigel Borell.

This exhibition is a selected retrospective that spans 26 years of the artist's career in paint. The exhibition is accompanied by a significant catalogue publication with new essays by Megan Tamati-Quennell (Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa), Ngahiraka Mason (Auckland Art Gallery) and Dr. Deidre Brown (University of Auckland). A public ‘In Conversation’ event will be held on 11 February to discuss the emergence and rise of the contemporary Māori women's art movement during the 1980s.
